2026Tree Holding Qi Gong
Hi, my name is Jamie Josephs. I’m the lead instructor at the Ballarat School of Jik Cheung Kung Fu in Ballarat Central, Victoria. Over the last three decades I’ve immersed myself in Jik Cheung Kung Fu, Western boxing, Tai Chi, and internal arts, earning my Second Degree Black Belt along the way. My teaching focuses on practical self-defence, situational awareness, personal empowerment, and close-quarter skills for students aged 16 and over.
At festivals I love sharing Tree Holding Qigong — a gentle yet powerful practice that brings together breath, posture, balance, and meditation. It’s an invitation to root yourself like a tree, calm the mind, reconnect with your body, and discover stillness within movement. My sessions are all about helping people find presence, inner strength, and a sense of peace.
